The Role:
The role of the uniformed Venue Operations Coordinator is to operate the effective provision of security for the RFU, Allianz Stadium, venue, and its environs. Based at the stadium complex and works within a team that operates on a scheduled rota covering 24 hours, 7 day a week, 365 day a year period.
This role requires the individual to respond to all requests for security services and first aid, operate all life support and security systems, maintain accurate logs and reports, follow processes and procedures, and assure the safety and welfare of all staff and visitors across the venue.
The venue has a spectator capacity of 82,000 and the complex includes a 156-bedroom Radisson Red Hotel, a TW2 Health & Fitness leisure club, conference and banqueting facilities, a performing arts centre, a rugby store, and office accommodation, making the stadium a 365 day a year business.
The Team:
You will be part of a team of three operations one of two daily security shifts; this team is an integral part of four team responsible for the 24-hour security and safety of the venue. The team is part of wider venue team responsible for venue events, facilities, grounds, and the office services functions, led by the Venue Director.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Providing first class customer service
- Welcoming and assisting visitors, contractors, and staff.
- Controlling and recording vehicular and pedestrian entry and exit
- Conducting site patrols as directed
- Maintaining the secure integrity of the venue
- Issue and return of keys and monitor their use and return.
- Monitoring of the CCTV system, reacting to alarms
- Responding to incidents and emergencies
- Conduct initial investigations and present findings.
- Report writing
- Provide security operations to corporate events.
- Working as part of match/event day team as selected and rota dependent. Reacting to and reporting on Health & Safety and or facility maintenance issues.
- Produce Staff and visitor pass and managing their use.
- Actively collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of Venue Operations strategic, business, and operational plans.
- Act as an ambassador for, and promote the best interests of the RFU, including the promotion of our culture and core values – This Rose Means Everyone: Put The Team First, Shape The Future, Respect Each Other.
- Undertake other duties as may be required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibilities of the post and the needs of the organisation.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Essential:
- SIA door supervisor (Mandatory)
- SIA CCTV (Public Surveillance)
- First aid at work qualified (3-day course)
- Full UK driving license.
- IOSH Working Safely
- Fire Warden Trained
- Hold a level 2 award security qualification (or be prepared to work towards achieving this in the first year of employment)
- Security experience in a customer facing environment.
- Experience working in a control room and able to operate CCTV, access control and fire prevention/alarm systems

Desirable:
- Hold a level 2 award in stewarding or crowd safety qualification.
