  • Ensure service users engaged through criminal justice pathways receive timely and effective support.
  • Represent the service at multi-agency meetings and contribute to partnership working across Derbyshire.
  • Monitor performance, quality and outcomes, ensuring contractual and organisational standards are met.
  • Promote innovation, continuous improvement and high standards of professional practice.
  • Support the development of services that respond to the needs of local communities and stakeholders.

Person Specification

We are looking for a confident and proactive leader who is passionate about recovery and committed to achieving positive outcomes for the people we support.

Essential

  • Experience working within the substance use, recovery, health, social care or criminal justice sector.
  • Experience of line management, supervision and team development.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding principles and practice.
  • Experience of building and maintaining effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of recovery-oriented approaches and person-centred support.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute positively as part of a wider team.
  • Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards.

Desirable

  • Experience of managing criminal justice-related services.
  • Knowledge of community orders including ATRs, DRRs and RARs.
  • Understanding of Integrated Offender Management (IOM) and National Probation Service pathways.
  • Relevant management or leadership qualification.

What We Offer

  • A meaningful leadership role where your work directly supports life-changing recovery journeys.
  • Starting salary of £28,500 per annum, with opportunity to access yearly salary increments subject to appraisal, meaning potential salary increase up to £31,750 per annum.

  • Benefits including season ticket loan, pension scheme and life assurance.
  • Support through occupational sick pay, eye-care vouchers and regular wellbeing talks and activities.
  • Access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance programme including telephone and online access.
