| Language Department | The Modern Foreign Modern languages are a thriving, lively and successful department at Cundall Manor. Pupils begin to learn French in the Nursery and French and Spanish from Year 4. Both languages remain an attractive and popular choice right through to GCsE's and we are committed to fostering a lifelong appreciation of languages. Through a diverse and rigorous curriculum, the department equips students with strong communication skill and a deep understanding of Spanish and French language in its linguistic, cultural and historical contexts. There are typically two teaching groups in each year of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. GCSE results are consistently excellent with an above National Average pass rate from a broadly non-selective cohort. We are looking for a teacher who combines strong subject knowledge with warmth, creativity and high professional standards. |
| Essential: Degree-level qualification in Spanish or French, or a related subject. Experience teaching Spanish and French from ages 11–16. | |
