| Purpose | 1. To provide an appropriately broad, balanced and differentiatedlearning experience for students, in accordance with the nationalcurriculum, aims of the school and curriculum policies2. Keeping up to date with subject and course developments andexternal requirements such as exam boards and awarding bodies3. To ensure commitment to an Islamic ethos and set of values inorder to secure high quality learning, effective use of resourcesand improvement in standards of learning and achievement for allstudents.4.To monitor and support the overall progress and development ofstudents. |

| Main Duties | 1. Undertake the main professional duties of a teacher as outlined inthe most recent School Terms of Employment and School Policiesand Documents2.Play a full role within the life of the school community, support itsethos and encourage all staff and students to follow this example.3. Promote and support all school policies.4. Commit to continuing personal professional development. |
