LGBT Foundation is an impactful, vibrant charity with a wide portfolio of well-established services and rapidly developing new initiatives aimed at meeting the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans people.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Programme Manager to lead the delivery and development of our Talking Therapies Programme. This role provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and clinical governance across a diverse mental health service, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and inclusive support for LGBTQ+ communities.

The postholder will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of practitioners, volunteers, and students, fostering a culture of reflective practice, continuous learning, and excellent service delivery. They will oversee referral pathways, performance against contractual targets, and budget management, while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and best practice standards.

Working closely with senior leadership, commissioners, and external partners, the Programme Manager will play a key role in shaping and expanding the organisation’s mental health offer. This includes developing innovative service models, strengthening partnerships across health and voluntary sectors, and contributing to regional and national mental health agendas.

The role also involves providing safeguarding leadership and specialist mental health expertise, ensuring staff and volunteers are supported to safely manage risk and complexity within client work. The postholder will contribute to organisational policy development, quality assurance processes, and the ongoing improvement of services.

This is a highly collaborative and influential position, requiring strong leadership, operational management, and strategic thinking skills, alongside a deep commitment to improving mental health outcomes for LGBTQ+ people.
