We're looking for a proactive and innovative Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our People team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter who enjoys building strong relationships, solving hiring challenges and making a real impact on business growth.

Your role at BRE

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you'll take ownership of end-to-end recruitment across a broad range of business functions, helping us attract, engage and hire high-quality talent.

Working closely with hiring managers and business leaders, you'll act as a trusted recruitment partner, providing expert advice, market insight and innovative sourcing solutions. You'll build strong talent pipelines, deliver effective hiring strategies and ensure vacancies are filled efficiently while maintaining an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.

This role also offers the opportunity to leverage modern recruitment technology and AI-powered tools to improve hiring outcomes, drive efficiencies and support continuous improvement across the talent acquisition function.

Key responsibilities -

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple vacancies, delivering a seamless candidate experience from attraction to offer.

  • Lead high-volume recruitment campaigns, ensuring quality hires are made within agreed timelines.

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies and provide expert hiring advice.

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines, proactively sourcing and engaging candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels.

  • Screen, assess and shortlist candidates against agreed role requirements.

  • Provide market intelligence, talent insights and recruitment recommendations to support hiring decisions.

  • Monitor recruitment performance, analyse hiring data and drive continuous improvement through innovative and AI-enabled recruitment practices.

What we are looking for

We're looking for an experienced recruitment professional who can confidently manage multiple priorities while building strong relationships across the business.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience in an in-house talent acquisition or recruitment role.

  • A strong track record of managing high-volume recruitment across multiple vacancies simultaneously.

  • Demonstrable success in achieving recruitment KPIs, SLAs and hiring targets.

  • Advanced direct sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.

  • Experience using AI tools and technology to enhance recruitment effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, advise and constructively challenge when needed.

  • Strong analytical capability, including experience using Excel for recruitment reporting, data analysis and tracking.

  • Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.

  • The ability to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practice, candidate attraction strategies and selection methodologies.

Desirable experience includes:

  • Experience using Teamtailor ATS.

  • Experience hiring across a range of STEM roles.

  • Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion recruitment initiatives.

  • Exposure to recruitment marketing and employer branding activities.

Work Location Options

Mostly Remote – This role is primarily home-based, with occasional travel to our head office in Watford for planned meetings (1-2 times per quarter).

Our Recruitment Process

As part of our recruitment process we will be conducting 10-30 minute phone screening calls via an AI recruiter called Ryan with all shortlisted candidates. The information gathered from this screening will be used to help assess your suitability for the position.
