Your role at BRE
This role supports the delivery of high-quality, science-based sustainability certification by conducting technical audits for a range of BREEAM schemes. As part of the Certification and Operations team within BPS, the role ensures consistency, accuracy, and professionalism in all certification activities.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Conduct desktop-based technical audits of BREEAM assessments, liaising with translators when required

Your role at BREThis role supports the delivery of product testing and evaluation within BRE's Electronic Security department. Working in a UKAS-accredited laboratory environment, the role contributes to the certification of electronic security systems under the internationally recognised LPCB brand.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Conduct laboratory testing and technical assessments of electronic security systems, including intrusion detection, secure communications, access control, and surveillance products
Operate test instrumentation and perform hands-on evaluations to relevant standards and specifications
Interpret technical drawings and schematics, recording and analysing test results accurately
Produce high-quality technical documentation and reports in support of certification outcomes
Liaise directly with clients to communicate test procedures, results, and project updates

Your role at BRE

Your role at BRE
- Take ownership of the compliance matrix and asset registers, ensuring all records and certifications for buildings and infrastructure are accurate and up-to-date.

- Provide excellent customer service to all end users, contributing to overall operational excellence.
- Be flexible to work outside normal hours when required and deputise for the Senior Operations Manager as needed.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience working within an Estates or Facilities Management environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing compliance within property management.
- Relevant building or engineering qualification and/or membership in a recognised professional body.

Your role at BRE
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the Estates team - managing and maintaining critical systems and data that keep our operations running efficiently. From developing our occupancy database and coordinating IT systems to administering business rates and supporting energy reporting, you’ll be the go-to person for accurate information, insightful reporting, and seamless coordination across teams.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain the occupancy database for the park to ensure accurate reporting of occupancy and utilisation.
- Co-ordinate and maintain departmental IT systems, including SharePoint, Access Control, Occupancy Database, Lease Database, and Contractor/Visitor Systems, acting as System Administrator for all Estates systems.
- Manage and co-ordinate data relating to the park, ensuring all records and documentation are accurate, complete, and digitally stored for efficient retrieval.
- Administer Business Rates for the park, liaising with the local authority to notify of changes, ensure accurate invoicing, and apply for relief where appropriate.
- Generate purchase requisitions for suppliers, liaising with the Procurement team and Accounts Payable to resolve queries.
- Liaise with utility providers to gather energy data and assist with overall energy reporting.
- Co-ordinate and maintain the department’s Group Management System.
- Work collaboratively as part of the wider Estates team to deliver operational excellence across the estate.
- Provide data and reporting to other departments on Estates activities, including costs, income, contract details, and other relevant information as required.

Your role at BREThe Lab Technician supports the Fire Protection team by preparing and assisting in the execution of fire testing activities in compliance with relevant standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate laboratory operations.

Essential Criteria

Your role at BRE
This role is responsible for managing and delivering BRE’s certification services for passive fire protection products and systems. Key responsibilities include:

Your role at BRE
The Operations Team Leader supports the effective delivery of Building Performance Services by managing a team responsible for scheme applications, customer service and revenue generating processes. Lead and oversee the BPS Operations Support and Delivery Team, ensuring efficient workflow, performance management, and achievement of service levels.

Manage end-to-end processing of BREEAM Assessor licences, AP subscriptions, and assessment registrations in line with standards and SLA requirements.

Oversee purchasing, invoicing, debt management, procurement processes, project codes, and financial administration for BPS services.

Your role at BRE
As a Housing Research Consultant within our expanding Housing Data and Insights team, you will contribute to national housing research and data analysis projects that inform housing, energy and health policy across the UK. Your role at BRE
The Certification Project Engineer will manage the full lifecycle of security product approval projects, coordinating testing, evaluation and certification activities in line with relevant standards. About the role

Your role at BRE
As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in delivering and strengthening BRE’s Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) services. This role focuses on ensuring technical integrity, advancing BRE’s Product Category Rules (PCR), and supporting the continued growth of our Sustainable Products offering.
Key responsibilities:

Your role at BRE

Your role at BRE
The Lead Structural Engineer provides technical leadership for structural engineering activities within BRE’s Structural team, delivering high-quality engineering, testing, and assurance services that support business growth and industry impact.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Lead and manage a complex structural engineering function, delivering a complete technical service against agreed objectives and growth targets

Oversee the delivery of structural engineering projects, ensuring technical quality, compliance with relevant BS and EN standards, and alignment with client requirements

Develop and interpret test regimes based on structural design principles, including static and dynamic behaviour

Manage laboratory-based activities to ensure safe, consistent, and reliable testing outcomes

Coordinate engineers, technicians, and laboratory staff to achieve cohesive and efficient project delivery

Provide technical input to business development activities, including client engagement, proposal development, and representation at industry events

Act as a technical authority on complex client enquiries, producing high-quality technical proposals and reports

What we are looking for

Chartered Structural Engineering expertise with strong technical authority in structural engineering and testing

Proven capability in leading and managing complex structural engineering activities and technical services

Strong working knowledge of BS and EN codes and standards, and their application to structural design and test regimes

Demonstrated understanding of static and dynamic structural behaviour and engineering mechanics

Your role at BRE
As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in delivering and strengthening Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) verification services and BRE’s Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) services. This role focuses on ensuring technical integrity, advancing BRE’s Product Category Rules (PCR), and supporting the continued growth of our Sustainable Products offering.
Key responsibilities:

Undertake technical review and verification of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

Represent BRE at ECO Platform and technical working groups, influencing standards and industry direction.

Deliver complex LCA projects, including modelling, analysis and reporting.

Contribute to the development of BRE’s digital platforms (e.g. BRE LINA, IMPACT) to strengthen our LCA and EPD services.

Support the development and maintenance of BRE’s PCR and associated scheme documentation.

Ensure robust, credible outcomes in line with international standards.

Engage with clients and stakeholders to advocate for the use of LCA and EPD in sustainable construction practices.

What we are looking for
We are seeking someone who can bring robust technical expertise and sector insight to our Life Cycle Assessment and EPD services. You will need to demonstrate:

Extensive experience in verifying Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

Extensive experience delivering and managing LCA projects in line with international standards.

A solid understanding of ISO and CEN standards relevant to LCA in construction.
