Systems Analyst

Jesus College Cambridge are looking to recruit a Systems Analyst to join the IT Department. This is a newly created role which will require the role holder to liaise with other College departments to identify how IT can further improve and streamline existing processes. They would identify where existing systems could be built upon, and where necessary, research new solutions that would accomplish the goal.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to),

• Working with College departments to identify processes and workloads that could be simplified or streamlined with additional IT improvements.
• Where internal development is necessary, work with the IT development team to create a system definition and design.
• Where existing systems could be better used, provide guidance and documentation where required.
• When new commercial systems are required, identify viable solutions and work with the Head of IT and departments to choose the most appropriate solution.
• Promote the use of new or underused tools, especially within the Microsoft 365 environment.
