We are seeking a Project Manager to undertake a new role supporting the 4 adult hospices in Surrey that provide palliative and end of life care to people living across Surrey. The role is to support Hospices’ joint vision of working in partnership to provide the best possible support and care. This role will help ensure the hospices have a stronger, collective voice within the wider health and care system and are well positioned to influence future service development and commissioning.
Under the direction of the CEOs, the role will be to:
- support the drive for improved data collection and consistent reporting;
- generate ideas for service improvements; and
- demonstrate the case for fair funding for all hospices in the collaborative.
You will be keen to make a difference and supportive of the work of the hospice sector. You will have a track record of partnership working, being collaborative and understand the complexities of the NHS landscape. You will be analytical, good at working with data and using evidence to build a business case. You will be practical and values-led, able to build trust with a belief in compassionate care, reducing health inequalities, increasing fairness and an ambition to ensure hospices are seen as equal partners in system change.How the role will work?
The role will be delivered through a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months. You will have a unique position working alongside senior hospice leaders to build strong collaboration, improve outcomes for our population and advocate for our hospice members.About us
We are 4 independent hospices across Surrey, part of the new Surrey & Sussex Integrated Care System. All 4 Hospices have recently signed an MOU signalling our desire to accelerate and give focus to our partnership working.
