Successful candidates will have the ability to assess and interpret clinical conditions, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be competent with IT systems.
Whilst palliative care experience is valuable, it is not essential as full training and support will be given.

This role will be temporarily based at Kings Lodge Care Home in Camberley until our new hospice is completed, at which point our IPU and this role will relocate from Camberley to Farnham.
Our Housekeepers are an essential part of Phyllis Tuckwell, not only for housekeeping but for also maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere for our patients and their families. Whilst previous experience of similar work in an in-patient environment is preferred, this is not essential, and in-house training will be provided for the successful candidate.

- Understanding of the local business community and Phyllis Tuckwell’s catchment area across West Surrey & North East Hampshire
- Experience managing relationships with corporate partners, supporters, and the ability to deliver exceptional stewardship
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a busy, collaborative team

Working alongside other Team Leads you will provide accessible, and visible leadership and effective day-to-day operational line management, including a planned night service staffed by Healthcare Assistants, over seven days a week. You will be required to work as an autonomous practitioner and display professional curiosity, being able to make clinical decisions. The role will take an active part in the Co-ordination function, clinically prioritising referrals and allocating resources according to clinical need.
Our Team Leads have an allocated locality which mirrors other external community services, and are responsible for, and lead on, areas of practice including quality improvement, risk, and people management. Effective team working skills are essential, to ensure continuous improvement, good information sharing and continuity and a seamless experience for patients and clinical colleagues within Hospice at Home, focused on the Community Ward.

They will work in any of our settings across both sites as well in patient’s home, in community venues and on the in-patient unit. - The ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
- Previous experience within a charity or fashion-based organisation, however full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising or shop displays.
- Have some commercial awareness and a desire to drive business forward within their shop.
