Pay:

Fully operational salary:

· £13.71 per hr for social hours

· £14.71 per hr for unsocial hours

Starting salary:

· £12.71 per hr for social hours

· £13.71 per hr for unsocial hours

Social hours are Monday to Friday 7am-9pm, Unsocial hours are all other shifts.

Place of work:

We are hiring support workers for our Supported Living Development based at our York house (just off Tadcaster Road) and our Tadcaster houses. Which house you will work at would be agreed by both yourself and Wilberforce Trust depending on your location and the hours available.

What you’ll be doing:

Our Care/Support workers provide daily support and personal care, and once fully trained will administer medication to our tenants. Duties may also include arranging daily activities, taking our tenants out on trips and activities, helping to prepare meals or attending sensory sessions at Wilberforce House. We also encourage tenants to develop and maintain positive relationships with family and friends.

All staff are supported to achieve the Care Certificate (if needed) and complete a successful induction period.
