Are you naturally kind, patient, and driven by a genuine desire to help others? Do you want a rewarding role where you can make a real difference one child and one night at a time? If so, you could be exactly who we’re looking for.
At our welcoming children’s home in Wingrave, we support incredible young people aged 10–19 with autism and severe learning disabilities. As a Waking Nights Support Worker, your presence is vital. Working consistent 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts, you will create a safe, calm, and reassuring environment so our children can rest easy and feel secure through the night.
Your Role Night-to-Night:
- Bedtime Reassurance:Help the children settle in for the evening, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable.
- Nighttime Care:Check in regularly throughout the night, offering immediate comfort, emotional support, or personal care with warmth and total respect.
- Morning Transitions:Help set them up for a positive day ahead before they head off to the nearby MacIntyre School.
- Team Collaboration:Work closely with a passionate, supportive team that ensures our children’s nights are just as nurturing as their days.
What We Are Looking For:
You don’t need a background packed with identical experience, we value who you are as a person. If you are caring, resilient, a great listener, and eager to learn, we will provide the training and support you need.
Why Join Us?
Every shift brings the chance to make a lasting impact. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that genuinely values your dedication, offering a stable full-time night schedule that allows you to plan your lifestyle around consistent hours.
