About the Role
Based at our Supported Living Service on Evesham Road in Stratford-upon-Avon, you'll support adults with learning disabilities to live independently in their own homes while achieving their personal goals and living the life they choose.
Our customers have a range of learning disabilities, and some are also living with dementia or age-related conditions. Experience or an interest in supporting people with dementia would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll provide high-quality, person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care with dignity and respect.

Administering and recording medication in line with individual support plans.

Using moving and handling equipment, including hoists, where required (full training provided).

Supporting customers with meal preparation, household tasks, shopping and budgeting.

Encouraging independence, choice and decision-making in all aspects of daily life.

Supporting customers to access healthcare appointments and community activities.

Taking part in activities such as arts and crafts, sensory sessions, Cyclability, shopping trips, day trips and other hobbies that promote wellbeing, confidence and independence.

Supporting customers to build and maintain relationships with family, friends and their local community.

Completing accurate records and working collaboratively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals.
Shift Patterns
This role involves a variety of shifts, including:
- 7:00am – 3:30pm
- 3:30pm – 10:00pm
- 7:00am – 10:00pm(Long Day)
Sleep-in shifts may be available and are paid at
£70.47 per sleep-in.
Previous care or relevant support experience is preferred.
