Support Worker – Learning Disabilities

Location: Supported Living Services, Stratford-upon-AvonContract: Permanent, Full-time (30–40 hours per week)Salary: £12.88 per hour (+ £1.50 per hour for waking nights)

Join Heart of England Mencap and help people with learning disabilities live fulfilling, independent lives. We're looking for caring, reliable and flexible Support Workers to join our Supported Living team across multiple properties in Stratford-upon-Avon.

About the Role

You'll provide high-quality, person-centred support, helping customers develop independence, achieve their goals and enjoy active, fulfilling lives within their local community.

This role involves working across several supported living services, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

You'll need flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including:

  • Early shifts (7:00am–9:00am)
  • Late shifts (3:00pm–10:00pm)
  • Split shifts where required
  • Sleep-ins (10:00pm–7:00am, with shifts before and after)
  • Waking nights (paid at an additional £1.50 per hour)
  • Weekday and weekend shifts

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Caring, compassionate and reliable
  • Flexible and able to work a varied shift pattern
  • A confident driver who can travel between services
  • Passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities to live independently

Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training is provided.
