We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Morriston. In this role, you will support people to build relationships, try new things, and feel part of their community – so that they can live good lives.

You will need to hold a full UK driving license for this role.

You will be supporting an independent female only service in their home and the community to maintain or improve skills, wellbeing and build relationships. You will need to be empathetic, proactive, have good values and able to both lone and co work with professionals to identify and achieve positive outcomes and assist people on this path to a brighter future.

What You'll Do 

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Support people to do the things they enjoy, try new experiences, and live good lives.
  • Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and maintaining routines.
  • Encourage and support people to strengthen relationships with family, friends, and their community.
  • Work alongside professionals such as social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure people receive the best support.
  • Listen to the people you support and support them to make choices about their lives.
