We’re proud to have been accredited as a Great Place to Work for 2025 — our seventh year in a row. That doesn’t happen by accident; it happens because of teams who care.
About the Role
We are looking for a new Support Worker to join our friendly teams - working across 3 homes in Bournemouth and Southbourne where we support adults with learning disabilities.
The people we support live active, fulfilling lives, and they’re looking for someone who will enjoy getting involved in the things they love, including:
- Supporting people to travel to and from their day centre
- Listening to music together
- Day trips to museums and places of interest (the Tank Museum was a recent favourite)
- Walks at Hengistbury Head and along the beautiful local beaches
- Meals out at local pubs and restaurants
- Swimming sessions at Pelhams Leisure Centre
Therre are some wheelchair users, but that certainly doesn’t stop them from enjoying an active lifestyle.
About You
You don’t need previous experience — just the right values, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. If you’re someone who enjoys being out and about, loves good company, and wants to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life, this could be the perfect role for you.
A full UK/EU driving licence is essential, as supporting people to access the community is a key part of the role.
Gender is considered a genuine occupational requirement under paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
