About the service

We support 7 amazing individuals across 3 services in Ellon, and we’re looking for compassionate, motivated Support Workers to join our team. The people we support have a range of health and support needs, including epilepsy, autism, Angelman syndrome, and sensory impairments (such as deafness or blindness). No two days are the same, and that’s what makes this role so rewarding.

About the role

You’ll be supporting people with their day to day lives, helping them to live as independently, confidently, and happily as possible. This includes:

  • Medication and health support
  • Personal care and wellbeing
  • Managing finances
  • Attending appointments
  • Household tasks

But this role is about more than support — it’s about sharing life experiences. The people we support love getting out and trying new things, and you’ll be right there with them. Current activities include:

  • Swimming
  • Horse riding
  • Discos
  • Cinema trips
  • Theatre visits
  • Day trips and holidays

…and much more! Because of our active lifestyles, being able to drive is essential, so no one misses out on the fun.

Shift patterns

We offer a variety of shift patterns across our services, including:

  • 8am – 10pm
  • 10am – 3pm
  • 7am – 10pm
  • 8am – 3pm
  • 8am – 8am (including sleepover)

Shifts are flexible and activity led, meaning times may change to suit what’s planned for the day.
