Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, Part Time

YOU is a registered charity that has been providing care, support and advice for over 30 years to vulnerable people, working across Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex, Wiltshire, Somerset and the Isle of Wight to give them the tools and resources they need to live independent, secure and valued lives. We also maintain an in-house pool of sessional workers, which we refer to as the ‘Premier Crew’.
The role
Want a career where you can make a real difference every single day? Join our friendly and supportive team in Eastleigh as a Support Worker.
No two days are the same in this rewarding role. One day you might be supporting someone to build confidence using public transport, the next you could be cheering on their favourite team at a football match, teaming up at a pub quiz, or enjoying a local poetry night together. You’ll help people try new experiences, build friendships, develop independence, and enjoy the things that matter most to them. You’ll provide safe, person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs, always promoting dignity, respect, and choice.
Some of the people we support may also require assistance with personal care, including bathing and toileting. Experience in this area is helpful, but not essential — if you bring the right attitude, compassion, and willingness to learn, we’ll provide the training and support you need.
We’re looking for someone who brings positivity, empathy, and enthusiasm to everything they do. You’ll be proactive, encouraging, and committed to making a genuine impact in people’s lives.
Whether you already have experience supporting people with learning disabilities or you’re looking to start a rewarding new career, we want people who are caring, motivated, and ready to learn.
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who celebrates successes — big and small — and takes pride in delivering exceptional support while helping create a warm, empowering, and inclusive environment for everyone.
Please note: We are only able to offer Certificate of Sponsorship for this role if you already hold a Skilled Worker Visa.
