- Management or Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent to Diploma/ Degree/NVQ 5 or equivalent work level experience
- Experience of supporting women, men and children who have been subject to domestic violence and abuse and/or sexual violence and abuse/stalking. Experience of undertaking strengths and needs assessments including a DASH/RIC
- Experience of effective multi-agency and partnership working (eg MARAC) and managing complex and demanding service functions. Knowledge of best practice in relation to safeguarding, crisis accommodation, community-based settings and MARAC
- Experience of managing, supporting, supervising, motivating and developing teams and individuals. Knowledge of criminal and civil proceedings relating to SVA/DVA/Stalking
- Skilled at IT including office packages such as excel, power point and word and have the ability to produce reports and maintain administration systems
The Operational Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the Advocacy Services, which is the Domestic abuse services IDVA, Family Safeguarding and DVA team, the role will also:
1. Focus on the operational management, development and delivery of Paragon, follow Paragon and YOU processes, policies and procedures.
2. Manage and deliver 24/7 access to the service through targeted staff and volunteer deployment and an on-call service
3. Lead on the effective recruitment and induction of staff, working with others to support recruitment across the wider team
4. Manage and support staff and volunteers in line with service requirements, contractual and grant fund specifications, key performance indicators and timescales.
5. Be responsible for ensuring that allocation of cases to all staff is prioritised on risk, including - outreach, groups, drop-ins, resettlement and refuge/crisis accommodation
6. Direct staff, prepare for, and carry out internal management reviews, write reports and attend external multi-agency meetings such as MARAC, DARDR’s and other safeguarding meetings
7. Carry out regular 14-day audits and case management reviews guided by Safe Lives and Paragon best practice, supporting staff, via agreed management and HR processes, who fail to maintain appropriate risk led data collection processes, ensure that the information captured addresses all KPI's and other contractual and service requirements

The Role

This role leads 24/7 access to support, ensuring the right support is offered in a timely and effective manner.
This role will work effectively with the wider management team to ensure excellent and cohesive delivery across all work in the area. As the lead for adult 1-1 support and recovery work you will work with all Lot managers within the contract to ensure support is coordinated effectively across the service.
The Paragon Manager will follow processes and quality assure completion of work to enable the service to continue to achieve the Safe Lives Leading Lights accreditation.
The role will require you to attend a number of management meetings weekly, monthly and quarterly to remain up to date with service changes and developments.
About You
You will be a passionate and experienced Manager seeking to join a team working across the county.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, be able to oversee the delivery of crisis interventions and lead and support staff in their development and delivery of the service.
You will be passionate about working with victims/survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, using a trauma informed approach and be open and approachable.
You will have excellent communication skills, work closely with partner agencies and stakeholders and maintain positive working relationships.
