Job Description

Real support isn't about doing things to someone. It's about doing things alongside them

There's a difference between caring for someone and caring about them. You've probably felt it, as the person receiving care, or watching someone you love get it. The rushed visit. The task-list approach. The sense that you're a name on a rota, not a person in a room.

We're building something else.

What the job actually is

Forget everything "care work" makes you picture. This isn't a caseload of people you see for twenty minutes at a time. It's one person. Properly. You'll learn their sense of humour, their goals and what a genuinely good day looks like to them.

Some days that's a swim. Some days it's cooking together, or a bus into town, or just being the steady presence in the room while someone tackles something outside of their comfort zone. The job is showing up as a person, not a procedure.

"But I've never worked in care"

Some of our best people came from behind a shop counter, a bar, a hotel front desk, jobs that taught them how to read a room and treat people with patience and respect. That matters more than a qualification you don't have yet. We'll give you that qualification anyway.

The practical bit

  • Fully funded Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, paid for and built in, genuinely useful on your CV long after this job
  • Blue Light discount card
  • Generous holiday allowance
  • Full training from your very first shift, and a team that doesn't leave you to sink or swim
  • Optional sleep-in shifts in Warrington, £60/night, for anyone who wants the extra hours

Not sure yet?

That's fair, this isn't a decision to rush. Call 01908 357016 and talk it through with our recruitment team, no pressure, no script. Or if you already know this is you, apply and let's get started.

Someone's next chapter is waiting for the right person to walk alongside them. This could be you.
