No experience needed | Full training provided | Join a team that has your back

No one is ever on their own here. At MacIntyre Crownhill, we don’t just care for people with learning disabilities and autism, we empower them. If you are kind, reliable, and want a job where your presence genuinely brightens someone's day, you belong on our team.

Why Join the Crownhill Team?

A True Team Culture: You will never feel isolated. We work closely, lift each other up, and share the rewards of the job together.

Earn Extra on Shifts: Beyond your standard hourly pay, sleep-in shifts are paid at a flat rate of £60 per night (usually worked just once a week).

Zero Experience Required: We don’t hire based on a CV; we hire based on your heart. We provide all the training and encouragement you need to thrive.

What Your Day Will Look Like

No two days are exactly the same, but you can expect a rewarding mix of connection and practical support:

Creating Moments of Joy: Whether it’s enjoying a peaceful afternoon in the garden, going for a long walk, or planning an exciting day out.

Building Deep Connections: Some of the people we support do not use words to speak. You’ll learn to listen with patience, building trust and deep, non-verbal connections.

Promoting Independence: You will help with daily routines and personal care, but always with a twist—encouraging people to do as much as they can for themselves so they build lifelong confidence.

What We Need From You

You don't need a background in care, but you do need:

A kind, compassionate, and reliable nature

A UK manual driving licence (essential for getting out and about!)

Flexibility to work on a rolling rota

The Shift Patterns:

Shifts are shared across the team and include mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Early Shift: 07:30 – 15:00

Late Shift: 14:30 – 22:00
