We’re looking for a flexible, reliable and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team in Market Drayton (TF9), working across multiple support settings in the local area.

You’ll support a range of individuals with learning disabilities, autism and Down syndrome, offering both 1:1 and shared support depending on the service. This is an exciting and varied role where no two days are the same — perfect for someone who enjoys building different relationships and adapting their approach.

Across the services, you’ll support:

  • Individuals aged 30s–60s

  • People with a range of independence levels and support needs

You’ll provide high-quality, person-centred support across services, including:

Your role will vary between services, giving you the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and experiences.

Across the services, people enjoy a wide variety of activities, including:

  • Shopping trips and café visits
  • Walking, farm visits and community clubs
  • Social clubs and meeting friends
  • Music, DJing and board games
  • Creative activities and structured routines
  • Watching TV, films and shared leisure time

Some individuals live very independently, while others benefit from more structured support, routines, or guidance around behaviours and social interactions.

This role offers up to 45 hours per week, worked flexibly across services.

Typical shifts include:

  • 7:00am – 2:30pm
  • 2:30pm – 10:00pm
  • Long days:10:00am – 10:00pm
  • Sleep-ins:10:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)

Flexibility is essential, as shifts and locations will vary depending on service needs.

You’ll be a great fit if you are:

  • Reliable, adaptable and flexible
  • Comfortable working across different services and teams
  • Patient, calm and empathetic
  • A strong communicator with a good sense of humour
  • Confident supporting a range of needs and behaviours
  • Proactive and able to use initiative
  • Happy to be active and involved in community activities

Experience in care is helpful, but not essential — full training is provided.

Working across multiple services means:

  • More variety in your role
  • The chance to build a wide range of skills
  • Exposure to different support styles and environments
  • Opportunities to grow and progress within Dimensions
