Shifts

  • Early and late shifts
  • Weekend working required (2 out of 4 weekends)

FitzRoy’s Supported Living service in North Walsham supports adults with learning disabilities and autism across two welcoming, homely bungalows. We are looking for caring and committed Support Workers who share our values and want to make a real difference.

This is a community‑based role, with most support delivered on a 1:1 basis. You’ll be supporting people to enjoy everyday life — whether that’s a trip to the beach, visiting a local café, or doing the weekly shop.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide person‑centred support tailored to each individual’s needs, wishes, and goals. No two days are the same, and flexibility is essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting people to enjoy their interests, hobbies, and community activities
  • Providing personal care and support with daily routines
  • Empowering people to build confidence and independence
  • Administering medication and supporting with household tasks
  • Working closely with colleagues and families to provide consistent, high‑quality support

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence (essential for using service vehicles)
  • A positive, caring attitude and flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends
