About the role
You’ll be supporting one gentleman in his 40s with learning disabilities and autism to live independently and enjoy the things that matter most to him.
He’s active, enjoys the outdoors, and has a great range of interests, including:
- Airplane watching
- Attending football matches
- Art
- Bike rides
- Fishing
- Camping
He’s looking for someone friendly and positive who shares a love of being outdoors and can support him to make the most of his hobbies and daily life.
As a Support Worker, you’ll be there to empower him to live life his way. You’ll:
- Support him to achieve his personal goals
- Help with food shopping, budgeting and paying bills
- Encourage independence with cooking, cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and support to access the community and enjoy activities
This is a role where your encouragement, consistency and approach can make a real difference.
Shift Patterns
Support is provided through 24-hour shifts, including a sleep-in:
9am-10pm - sleep (10pm -7am ) + 7am-9am
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance, giving you time to plan and supporting a healthy work–life balance – something we’re really passionate about.
