Job Description

Could You Support Someone Like Sarah?*

Sarah enjoys getting out and making the most of every day. She loves swimming, visiting local places and spending time in her community. Whether she's heading to the pool, enjoying a trip out or relaxing at home after a busy day, Sarah thrives when she's surrounded by people who know her well and support her to live life her way.

Like everyone we support, Sarah communicates in her own unique way. By taking the time to get to know her, you'll learn how she expresses her choices, preferences and personality. Building a trusting relationship will help you understand what makes her feel happy, confident and included.

Every person we support is different, but they all have one thing in common—they want a life filled with opportunities, meaningful relationships and the freedom to make their own choices.

Position Details:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Rotational shifts(days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays)
  • Must have a UK Manual or Automatic licence

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, but your role will always be centred around Sarah and what matters to her.

You could be:

  • Supporting Sarah at home with her daily routines.
  • Going swimming, visiting cafés, parks and local places she enjoys.
  • Helping her build confidence, maintain relationships and be part of her community.
  • Providing person-centred support with getting ready in the morning, medication, eating and drinking.
  • Sharing everyday moments that help Sarah live a gloriously ordinary life.

You'll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, working alongside experienced colleagues and registered nurses.

Who Are We Looking For?

Prior experience as a support worker is not necessary. What’s important is your passion for helping others and your willingness to learn. This is an opportunity to have a direct, positive impact on Sarah’s life, and every day will offer new and rewarding experiences.

We are looking for someone who listens attentively, shows empathy, and is eager to understand Sarah’s needs. Your enthusiasm, combined with training and support, will help Sarah live a gloriously ordinary life.
