Post: Support Team Leader North

Based: Aberystwyth

Responsible To: Support Team Manager North

Role & Responsibilities:

To assist the Support Team Manager North in carrying out the following duties and responsibilities:

Support Responsibilities:

• Delivery & implementation of Care Society Support Services;

• Coordinate the delivery of the Information, Advice & Assistance (IAA) service;

• Oversee support plans and case reviews, with Support Team Manager

• where required, to provide one to one support work, in line with HSG or Innovation Partnership criteria

• provide operational cover in the absence of the Support Team Manager North, in the day-to-day operation of the support services, and in the case of staff absences;

• Oversee the service user referrals system (Abritas) - new referrals, appropriate allocations to team members, Gateway Team liaison

• Provide a point of contact for team members in relation to queries and decision-making;

• Assist in the induction and mentoring of new support staff;

• Assist with coordinating and recording support team training

• Identify methods/ mechanisms to obtain service user feedback;

General Responsibilities:

• Coordination of Accident Reporting Information

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Local Authority (Social Services, Housing, etc.) and partner agencies;

Monitor and distribute info@ emails

• Oversee petty cash and team expenses

• To undertake any other duties as may be required by The Care Society.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Support Team Leader North

Annual Salary: £29,334.94

Duration: Full time contract, subject to satisfactory probationary period, thereafter, dependent on continued funding.

Work Base: Aberystwyth

Work Times: 37 flexible hours a week

Holidays: 20 days plus Bank Holidays, rising to 25 days

Probationary New employees work a probationary period of 6 months. Period:

Smoking: A non-smoking policy operates in all Projects.

Notice: 1 month
