Job Title: Student Pantry Assistant
Location: Newcastle University campus (office based)
Employement type: Fixed term, variable role. Up to 6 hours per week during term time (must be available on Fridays 10-2pm)
Salary: £12.71 per hour

The Student Pantry is a cost-of-living initiative, run by the Support and Advice Hub; an inclusive, accessible support service that aims to empower students to overcome challenges during their time at Newcastle University.
The role:
NUSU are recruiting two Student Pantry Assistants to play a key role in overseeing the weekly delivery and distribution of the Student Pantry and food parcel provisions. Development of additional initiatives to help tackle food insecurity and support cost of living initiatives will be a key responsbility. The Student Pantry Assistants will help to recruit and supervise student volunteers, coordinate logistics, and contribute to community outreach and development through innovative innitiatives such as welcome events, recipe resources and exploring external funding opportunities.
