Salary: £39.11 per hour, inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time

About the role
Are you a qualified teacher with experience in theatre and stage management? We are seeking an enthusiastic tutor to support adults in developing practical skills, confidence, and industry knowledge as they begin their theatre careers.
The Drama department delivers two Stage Management and Technical Theatre courses each year:
- Term 1 (October–December):a non-accredited course introducing stage management and technical theatre, culminating in students supporting a full drama production with four public performances.
- Terms 2 and 3 (January–June):an accreditedLevel 3 Award (Open College Network London), where students develop their skills while supporting two productions.
Working alongside the Stage Management and Technical Theatre Tutor and Theatre Manager, you will teach stage management disciplines including Deputy Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, Costume, and Set Design.
As well as delivering high-quality teaching, you will contribute to course planning and development, working closely with the lead tutor to ensure the programme meets learners' needs. Some flexibility in delivery times will be required, with the schedule agreed prior to the course start.

- Experience of teaching adults (desirable)
