LGBT Foundation is an impactful, vibrant charity with a wide portfolio of well-established services and rapidly developing new initiatives aimed at meeting the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans people.

The Liverpool Sexual Health Coordinator will lead the delivery and ongoing development of LGBT Foundation’s sexual health programme across Liverpool. The role combines strategic coordination, community engagement and frontline delivery to ensure that LGBT communities can access high quality sexual health information, interventions and support.

You will coordinate and deliver a range of sexual health activities including HIV and STI testing, workshops, one-to-one interventions, information stalls, awareness raising campaigns and community outreach. You will promote prevention tools such as PrEP, PEP, U=U, condoms and regular testing, while supporting broader conversations about sexual wellbeing, healthy relationships and pleasure.

You will play a lead role in the implementation and ongoing development of LGBT Foundation’s Sexual Health Community Asset Mapping Strategy across Liverpool. This will involve identifying community strengths, building relationships with organisations and community leaders, and creating opportunities for LGBT people to access sexual health support in locations and settings that feel safe and accessible.

The postholder will recruit, train, supervise and support a diverse team of volunteers who will assist in the delivery of outreach, testing, workshops and awareness raising activities. You will ensure volunteers receive effective support, ongoing development opportunities and appropriate safeguarding oversight.

You will represent LGBT Foundation at local partnerships, networks and sexual health forums, strengthening relationships with commissioners, providers, community organisations and venues across Liverpool.

Working closely with colleagues across the Sexual Health Programme, Communications Team and PaSH Partnership, you will help ensure services remain responsive to local need, informed by insight and data, and reflective of the experiences of diverse LGBT communities.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate monitoring and performance information, contributing to reports for commissioners and funders, and ensuring funded targets and outcomes are achieved.
