Service Coordinator – Futures Together Social Inclusion (West and South Essex)
37.5 hours per week | Fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027
We are looking for an enthusiastic and community-focused Service Coordinator to lead the social inclusion element of the Futures Together service across West and South Essex.
Futures Together combines the expertise of Essex Phoenix Futures’ Criminal Justice and Social Inclusion services to provide meaningful support, opportunities, and positive outcomes for the people we work with.
About the Role
As Service Coordinator, you will:
- Develop and deliver innovative social inclusion activities and groups.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers and peer mentors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local community organisations and partners.
- Encourage and support individuals to engage with social inclusion opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Futures Together team to improve outcomes for those using the service.
About You
We are seeking an individual who is:
- Passionate about social inclusion and community engagement.
- Motivated to support people to achieve positive change.
- Confident in building partnerships and working with diverse communities.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.

- Starting salary of £29,298, which includes a market supplement per annum. With the opportunity to access potential yearly salary increments subject to appraisal.
