The Role

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Recovery, you’ll play a vital role across the patient pathway, delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care.

You will:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centred care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient journeys.
  • Contribute to clinical audits, research, and service development initiatives.
  • Support safe, efficient theatre operations and optimal use of resources.
  • Help create a positive, empathetic environment for patients, colleagues, and visitors

About You

You are a dedicated and motivated practitioner with a genuine passion for delivering excellent patient care.

Essential:
  • Registered Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP Level 3)
  • Previous experience in a theatre environment
  • Previous recovery experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based care
Desirable:
  • Orthopaedic experience
  • Mentorship or clinical supervision qualification
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
