Senior Support Worker – Paisley Supported Living Initiative

Join Quarriers as a Senior Support Worker within our Paisley Supported Living Initiative, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting adults with complex needs to live independently and confidently in their own homes.

About the role
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the service while providing guidance and leadership to your colleagues. You’ll work closely with the Team Leader to ensure excellent standards of care and support are consistently delivered.
You will:
- Support and guide a team of Support Workers in their daily practice
- Lead by example to deliver high-quality, person-centred support
- Promote independence, dignity and choice for the people we support
- Assist with rota management, shift coordination and service delivery
- Support medication administration and care planning
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Quarriers policies
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting adults with complex needs
- Is confident in supporting and guiding a team
- Has a positive, proactive approach and leads by example
- Communicates effectively and builds strong working relationships
- Is committed to delivering excellent, values-led care
Qualifications & Requirements
- SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – essential
- Willingness to work towards SVQ Level 4
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) (or willingness to achieve this)
- Experience in a senior or supervisory role is desirable
- A full driving licence is desirable
