Essential Requirements:

* Able to support staff in the absence of the manager

* Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or commitment to achieve this qualification

* Experience of working with vulnerable people and those with a learning disability

* Able to role model good practice to other support staff

* Understand CQC regulations and the practical interpretation in your work

* Understand and promote independence

The Role:

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker who will be based across several services in Fleet and Odiham so being a driver with a vehicle will be an advantage.

The role of the senior supports the management team in effectively running the service providing excellent and flexible support in line with YOU’ values at all times. This role also works directly with clients to achieve their goals.

This position is predominantly off rota but there will be an expectation to support with a hands on approach should it be required.

* You will be used to working in a fast-paced environment.

* You will be passionate about working with adults with learning disabilities in a person centred approach.

* You will work alongside our clients as an equal partner and give advice and guidance at a level matching the person’s skills and strengths.

* Developing positive working relationships with the local community and support agencies to create a network of support for your clients will be central to the work you do.
