We are now looking for an exceptional Senior Service Manager to help lead the future of our CQC-regulated Social Care and Supported Living services.

The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role with real influence and impact across SignHealth’s social care provision.
Working within a collaborative leadership model alongside another Senior Service Manager, you will collectively lead and shape social care services across the organisation, ensuring a consistent, high-quality, “one team” approach across all regions.

We are recruiting for:

  • One 18-month Fixed Term Contract position managing services across London, Birmingham, and Manchester
  • One Permanent position managing two services in Leeds and one service in London

Both Senior Service Managers will work closely together to provide leadership across all social care services.
This is a home-based role with regular travel required to services and occasional out-of-hours support where needed.

What You’ll Be Doing


You will:

  • Lead and support Service Managers to deliver outstanding, person-centred services
  • Drive operational performance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
  • Strengthen safeguarding culture and regulatory compliance across services
  • Ensure services are inspection-ready and aligned with CQC standards
  • Support service growth, occupancy management, and sustainability
  • Analyse KPI and performance data to improve outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with leadership teams to shape future service development
  • Champion inclusive leadership and positive team culture where people feel they belong, are valued, and can thrive

As a Designated Safeguarding Officer, you will also oversee safeguarding practices, incident management, and risk escalation processes across your service areas.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate leader with:

  • Significant experience within social care, healthcare, or CQC-regulated services
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, governance, and quality standards
  • Experience leading managers and improving service performance
  • Strong operational and financial oversight skills
  • Confidence managing complex services across multiple locations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • A commitment to equality, inclusion, learning, and continuous improvement

You will thrive in a deaf-led environment and be committed to delivering outstanding, culturally competent services for deaf people.
A willingness to learn British Sign Language (BSL) to Level 2 is essential.
