As one of the UK's best employers, we believe in putting people at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Inhouse Recruiter to join our People, Culture and Digital team and help us create a positive, supportive and inclusive workplace culture.

 The Role

To provide an effective, efficient, high quality recruitment service to hiring managers, supporting them to fill senior, specialist and hard to fill vacancies within the Trust by writing and placing adverts, actively sourcing candidates and building a future pipeline for future resourcing needs.

 Location: Central Office Cheadle with some home working and some travel to Trust sites and recruitment events
Hours: 37.5 hours per week 
Contract: Permanent 
Salary: £36,040 per annum 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead recruitment and workforce planning across designated service areas.

  • Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to attract talent for senior, specialist and hard-to-fill roles.

  • Develop and deliver targeted recruitment campaigns informed by market insights.

  • Proactively source candidates through the ATS, LinkedIn, professional networks and other channels.

  • Act as the Trust's expert user for the ATS and recruitment best practice.

  • Build talent pipelines through careers events, education partnerships and external networks.

  • Line manage and support up to two In-House Recruiters.

  • Handle recruitment queries and issues professionally while maintaining high standards of candidate experience.

  What we are looking for:

  • Significant recruitment experience, including supporting senior leaders and recruiting to specialist or hard-to-fill roles.

  • Experience developing and delivering successful recruitment campaigns and talent attraction strategies.

  • Strong knowledge of safer recruitment practices and employment legislation.

  • Understanding of the education and/or social care recruitment market.

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technology.

  • Ability to analyse recruitment data and use insights to inform decision-making.

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Experience delivering against recruitment targets and KPIs.

Desirable:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or relevant degree.
  • Line management experience.
