About the Position…
Our Senior Residential Manager and Responsible Individual supports the Head of Service in the delivery of the Trusts residential services for cared for children. You will oversee several services that provide support to vulnerable young people, working across a range of differing needs.
- Line-manage and support children’s residential registered managers to ensure high‑quality person‑centred care across all services.
- Ensure all registered children’s homes comply with standards, regulations, policies, and procedures, with effective systems supporting staff in delivering care.
- Act as the Responsible Individual for designated children’s homes or services.
- Lead quality‑assurance processes to maintain good or outstanding practice and clearly evidence outcomes for children.
- Ensure registered managers promote and safeguard the welfare and well‑being of children in residential care.
- Work with our People and Culture team to improve staff recruitment and retention, supporting managers with staffing matters including disciplinary, capability, practice concerns, and internal investigations.
- Promote the trust’s residential services externally, develop relationships with external stakeholders, support referrals and placements, and participate in relevant conferences and events.

About the you…
Do you have the following skills and experience,
- Level 5 Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare of equivalent (Please see Job description attached)
- Significant Children’s Residential experience as a Registered Manager or suitable equivalent, experienced in promoting high quality children’s residential services.
- Strong knowledge of childcare legislation and OFSTED inspection requirements.
- Extensive experience leading high-quality residential services for young people with complex social or health needs, understanding care planning, transitions, and leaving care.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with local authority officers and commissioners.
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles, including managing change and managing of service budgets, including income and expenditure.
- An analytical approach to report writing, continuing improvement of services and measurement of care outcomes.
- A full current driving licence – mileage will be paid at 45p per mile
- Up-to-date IT skills and the ability to use electronic recording systems (Clearcare) to improve service delivery.
- A flexible approach to work, including some weekend on-call requirements.

We are seeking a Community Support Worker to join one of our community-based services in Brinnington, Stockport. Our service aims to provide extensive care, specialist positive behaviour support and promote independence and inclusion within the local community. The Role
To provide a professional and effective administrative service to the Registered Manager and staff team, thus enabling them to provide high quality care to the young people in the Trust's care
Hours: 16 Hours per week ( worked flexibly in discussion with manager)

Responsibilities include but are nit exhaustive
- Establish, monitor and maintain administrative systems which ensure that the records of the young people in residence are accurate and up to date.
- Act as an interface between the home and outside organisations and individuals in order to minimise the diversion to operational staff.
- Record all internal and external communications, including telephone calls, letters, messages and emails, ensuring that they are passed on to the relevant member of staff.
- To be responsible for the security of the office and its contents and ensure the confidentiality of records and information relating to the young people and staff.
- Keep accurate financial records and be responsible for internal financial claims.
- Collate information and provide regular reports for both internal and external agencies on the unit and young people’s issues/progress and other statistical information as requested.
- Undertake routine office work, including word processing for the Registered Manager and staff team, including accurate and concise minutes of meetings.
- Act in a discrete and professional manner, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the
- Previous experience of office work, preferably in a residential setting.
- Efficient and accurate keyboarding skills and ability use Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
- High standard of written and oral English.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise internally and externally in a confident and professional manner.
- Ability to prioritise work and to use own initiative.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to work flexibly around the needs of the young people.

Key tasks within this role are:
- To provide support and guidance to the young people by removing barriers to their learning as well as supporting and facilitating changes and transitions along the journey of excellence.

- Be an active participant in supporting the timetable in all it’s different contexts - assisting and supporting students within learning environments including swimming and hydrotherapy in the College’s purpose-built pool and other therapy and/or leisure facilities and on residential courses.
- Maintaining records using Data bridge and other college information and recording systems.
- Contribute to planning and review processes.
- Liaising with families, carers and others as necessary and with regard for the confidentiality required by the college and the Together Trust.

Job Purpose
The Attendance and Safeguarding Officer plays a vital role in enabling all students to engage fully in education by addressing safeguarding, welfare and attendance needs. The postholder will work closely with students, families, school staff and external agencies to remove barriers to learning, promote regular attendance and ensure robust safeguarding practices are consistently applied.
This role involves regular liaison with parents/carers, social workers and other professionals, as well as direct work with families through home visits and meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Attendance
- Lead home visits to engage families and improve student attendance.
- Lead the recording and monitoring of attendance data, including reasons for absence and late arrivals.
- Process and analyse attendance data, producing regular reports for staff and senior leaders.
- Apply detailed knowledge of attendance legislation to inform school policies, procedures and practice.
- Lead attendance-related correspondence, including issuing letters and escalating concerns to the Senior Leadership Team where required.
Safeguarding
- Support the Senior Leadership Team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to ensure effective safeguarding procedures are in place.
- Respond to lower-level safeguarding concerns in real time, making appropriate contact with families and agencies.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date safeguarding records on CPOMS, including clear actions and next steps.
- Attend child protection and core group meetings when required and contribute to case management under DSL supervision.
Parents and Community
- Develop positive, supportive relationships with parents and carers to encourage engagement with school.
- Provide advice and support to families where appropriate.
- Work closely with professionals supporting Looked After Children.
- Safely share safeguarding information with external agencies in line with GDPR and school policy.
- Build strong links with community partners and external agencies to support families and students.
Additional Responsibilities
- Produce reports on safeguarding, mental health and attendance trends for senior leaders and governors.
- Use own vehicle (with business insurance) to conduct home visits and attend external meetings (mileage reimbursed).
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children, families and safeguarding in an education or similar setting.
- Level 3 relevant qualification

The Role
To provide specialist, flexible, and creative outreach support for autistic students, including those with a demand avoidance profile and students who have experienced Emotionally Based School Non-Attendance (EBSNA). The role focuses on reducing anxiety, rebuilding trust in education, and facilitating engagement through personalised, non-traditional learning approaches either at Inscape, at the home, or within the local/ wider community setting.

Responsibilities include but are not exhaustive
- Provide one-to-one for autistic students, including those with PDA and other co-occurring difficulties (e.g., anxiety, sensory processing needs, ADHD).
- Use low-demand, child-led approaches to build trust and engagement, adapting communication and learning strategies accordingly
- Work independently in various settings, including students’ homes, Inscape House School, and/ or the wide community, maintaining high professional standards.
- Work closely with the teacher to adapt the support based on student needs, using a flexible, creative approach to engagement
- Facilitate non-directive, collaborative learning opportunities that gently reintroduce education in a way that feels safe, empowering, and pressure-free.
- Create flexible, collaboratively developed timetables that allow students to engage at their own pace, celebrating their strengths and autonomy in learning.
- Recognise and respond to distress or escalation, using de-escalation techniques and seeking advice from the wider team and PBS at Inscape house
- Build and maintain positive and constructive working relationships with pupils, families, multi-agencies, professionals and colleagues, to maximise pupils’ development and maintain the overall ethos and vision of the school.
- Provide feedback to pupils and the class teacher, supporting with the monitoring, recording and reporting of pupil progress to support with the attainment of all pupils.
- Assist with personal hygiene and health care needs under guidance
About You
- Level 3 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification or commitment to obtain such qualification within a given period of time
- Evidence or recent relevant professional development
- Experience of successful work with pupils who present with behaviours that concern
- Awareness of current developments in supporting autistic pupils
