Essential Requirements:

Proven experience supporting adult victims of domestic abuse, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management

Ability to assess risk and develop robust, person-centred safety and support plans
-
Experience working within multi-agency environments, particularly within safeguarding or family-focused services
-
Demonstrable experience of case management and providing oversight or support to other practitioners
-
Strong communication, advocacy and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to challenge appropriately
The Role:
As a Senior Family Safeguarding DVA Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adult victims of domestic abuse within a family safeguarding context. You will work closely with individuals experiencing complex needs, helping them to reduce risk, increase safety and rebuild their lives.
You will:

Carry out comprehensive risk and needs assessments using recognised tools

Develop and deliver tailored safety and support plans for clients and their families

Work collaboratively with social care, health professionals, police and other partner agencies to safeguard adults and children

Provide specialist advice, guidance and case consultation to colleagues within the wider safeguarding network

Advocate on behalf of clients, ensuring their voice is heard and their rights are upheld

Maintain accurate, high-quality case records and contribute to safeguarding processes such as MARAC and case conferences
