An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sessional Senior Supervisor role within the Medway Family Time Service.
This role will sit alongside your current position as a Family Time Supervisor and offers the opportunity to further develop your skills by supporting the management, quality assurance and wider functioning of the service. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards across the team, including quality assuring reports and contributing to its development, management and the audit processes.
Main Responsibilities:
1. To jointly lead on the quality assurance of Medway Family Time reports ensuring that they are of a high quality and meet the KPIs linked to them.
2. To embed good practice of report writing in the existing team and to support the induction of new members of staff.
3. To provide management cover when required ensuring the safe and effective running of the Family Time Centre.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
• The knowledge and ability to support staff who need to improve their report writing skills to ensure that they quickly meet the required standards.
• To have a good operational knowledge of Inform and Mosaic and to support the development, implementation and audit of the data base.
• To support the delivery and management of safe and effective supervised Family Time sessions.
• To manage the centre, taking responsibility for supporting staff and any incidents or challenges that occur.
• To promote and maintain Family Time arrangements that are agreed between all parties including respecting the wishes of children and young people.
• Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service – Enhanced with children’s barred list
