The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves film and documentaries but also enjoys the operational side of a business. The role is heavily administration-based and requires someone who is genuinely comfortable working with spreadsheets, numbers, trackers and detailed administrative processes every day. You will be responsible for proactively ensuring that information is accurate, organised and up to date across multiple projects and systems.
You’ll provide essential support across international sales, marketing and operations, helping campaigns run smoothly from acquisition through festival launches, international distribution and awards campaigns.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being organised, takes pride in getting the details right, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Administration & Operations
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the international sales team.
- Manage diaries and schedules for the sales team.
- Track and coordinate contracts, invoices and delivery materials across all international sales.
- Maintain and update multiple internal trackers across sales, finance and acquisitions, ensuring data is accurate and up to date at all times.
- Manage market and festival logistics for the sales team.
Marketing & Communications
- Manage sales email marketing, including newsletters, mailing lists and campaign analysis.
- Maintain the Dogwoof Sales website, ensuring film pages, trailers and news are current and presented to the highest standard.
- Monitor and maintain international press tracking.
The Ideal Candidate
You are someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity and takes satisfaction in keeping projects organised and running smoothly.
You’ll ideally have:
- Around 2 years’ experience in a sales support, operations, finance or administration role.
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- A genuine enjoyment of administrative work and confidence working extensively with spreadsheets, Excel, trackers, databases and numbers.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to work accurately across contracts, invoices and financial information.
- Excellent Excel skills and confidence learning new systems and software.
- Resilient, with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines and manage several projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and willingness to take ownership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative approach and enjoyment of working as part of a small team.
Desirable:
- Experience using email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp).
- Experience using website platforms (e.g. Squarespace).
- Familiarity with industry platforms such as Cinando and IMDbPro.
- A genuine passion for documentary film and the independent film industry.
