Safety Advisor
We are looking for a Safety Advisor to join the National Theatre's Safety team.
The Safety Department works across the National Theatre to enable and facilitate lasting safety cultural change across every aspect of the work the National Theatre delivers.
You will build strong relationships across all areas of the NT and positively influence behaviours to promote a proactive safety culture and support the delivery of best practice in health, safety and fire management.
Our Safety Advisors:
- Work as coaching partners to review the safety risk profile and coach departments through any improvement processes and action plans.
- Provide an appropriate level of challenge and support to business leaders.
- Provide production safety advice.
- Lead or assist on projects to develop safety systems for the NT – anything from IT solutions to training development.
The successful candidates will have the following:
- Level 3 safety qualification
- Demonstrable experience in providing health, safety and fire advice over a diverse range of risk environments
- Demonstrable experience of advising on the development, implementation and maintenance of a health and safety management system, including strategy and programmes in a changing environment.
- Safety experience within the creative industries, construction, manufacturing or events.
- Experience of delivering elements of projects and programmes of change.
