Location: Field based- North West, East Anglia
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in 12 days at 23:59 BST.
The vacancy
*Current full, valid driving license and own vehicle is essential for this role*
£36,155 - £40,231 per annum + mileage reimbursement
Working Pattern:
- Full time37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday with occasional weekend working)
- Field Basedwith 2 days per week home working
Shops you will manage:
Do you have:
- A proven track record of delivering sales budgets in a competitive retail environment?
- Experience of leading large teams in the delivery of financial goals?
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with individuals of all ages and backgrounds?
- Tenacity and drive with the ambition to exceed budgets?
- Outstanding time management and with the ability to meet deadlines and optimise support to shops?
- High level of commercial acumen, able to analyse performance and develop strategies to deliver growth?
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of shop managers in the delivery of sales and profit budgets for EACH retail
- Deliver exceptional levels of retail performance through outstanding retailing standards and initiatives
- Support the development and delivery of the retail strategy

- No step‑free access to the rear of the shop
- Changes in floor levels and uneven surfaces inside the shop, with no ramps available
- Shop spread over multiple floors with no lift
- High‑level storage in the back‑of‑house area
- Staff facilities are not located on the ground floor
- No designated accessible parking bay outside the shop

The organisation
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) ensures the best possible quality of life and makes every moment count for children and families across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Our family-centred approach includes specialist nursing care, symptom management nursing, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies, care at end of life, bereavement support, counselling and volunteer services in the family home; all meeting the individual needs of the child, young person and whole family.
In 2020, all three of our hospices; The Nook (Norfolk), The Treehouse (Ipswich) and Milton (Cambridge) were rated OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission.
Our people are central to our success. We have a talented workforce of staff and volunteers in Care, Fundraising, Retail, Facilities, IT, Finance, Marketing & Communications and Human Resources.
We’re over 440 employees strong, with a team of more than 2,000 volunteers across the organisation including over 50 shops and a Retail Distribution Centre.
