You will lead the management and analysis of large datasets from multiple sources with a focus on praziquantel drug absorption and metabolism and their role in driving poor treatment efficacy, including analysing data from an additional Gates funded project in Cÿte d’Ivoire, and PK/PD modelling. You will help support two PhD students also focusing on pharmacokinetics aspects within Cÿte d’Ivoire and Malawi and work closely alongside other national and international PhD students and PDRAs, working on other host factors driving poor treatment efficacy. You will also lead the curation, management and access of data and help safeguard the integrity and value of data outputs; help developing and delivering practical support for researchers and students facing challenges associated with data scale and complexity, including training in Cÿte d’Ivoire and Malawi in statistical analyses and data management. You will organise large and diverse datasets and model outputs from DRIVERS and other projects, ensuring they are findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR). Data may include epidemiology, malacology, immunology, pharmacokinetics, parasites genomics environmental, geospatial, and qualitative data. You will contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as make a significant contribution to the management and direction of this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
