Join us at Sense and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support and their families. We are seeking Relief Support Workers to cover shifts across two services in Louth; a residential service and a supported living service (you will discuss at interview which service would be the best fit). This role offers an hourly rate of £13.00.

You will provide essential care to individuals with sensory loss and learning disabilities who may display challenging behaviours.

If you live outside of Louth, you will need use of your own vehicle to get to and from the service for early/late shifts due to very limited public transport.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Confident and resilient
  • Comfortable with lone working
  • Able to support non-verbal individuals in their home and in the community
  • Flexible and available to cover a variety of shifts
  • A full manual UK licence holder (desirable)

This role might include supporting people with:

  • Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning
  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Finances and medication
  • Going into the community for shopping or other trips
  • Their social life and nightlife
