Outpatients Services, St Andrew’s Healthcare
We have an exciting opportunity within our Neurodevelopmental Services for a Clinically Registered Service Manager who can support the leading and development of our growing Autism and ADHD assessment and intervention service. Currently, most of these services are being delivered online but there maybe be a requirement to travel into the community too. Travel to the Northampton work base will also be required for attendance to team meetings and supervision. Successful candidates will have a clinical background (Allied Health Professional or Nursing) and registration and have experience in leading, developing and growing a service as well as ideally leading and developing an MDT within neurodevelopment service.
Although our offices are based in Northampton, the post holder will be required to travel into the community so full driver’s licence is desirable.
Our Outpatients Services currently offer a range of services including, a busy private therapy clinic, an Expert Witness Service, Diagnostic Assessment Clinics (ADHD and ASD) and a Complex Treatment Service for Military Veterans. Whilst this is a full-time permanent role, there would be the opportunity for the successful candidate to work along side other teams, collaborate with other teams and also complete CPD.
About You
The role requires you to be a clinical professional with complementary skills; using your clinical expertise when working directly with patients, but mainly involving leadership responsibility for the day to day running of the MDT team and organising rota’s / on call schedules. You will also have good operational skills, good financial skills as will have financial oversight of the services performance as well as responsibilities for service development and growth too.
You must be professionally registered (HCPC, NMC) and ideally have extensive experience working within ASD / ADHD / Neurodevelopmental services to be considered for this opportunity although strong leaders in other services may be considered. You will ideally be an assessor within these services (ADHD, ASD) too using tools such as ADOS, ADiR, DIVA although not essential as long as have good strong leadership experience within Neurodevelopmental services.
As the Service Manager you will be responsible for day-to-day coordination organising, prioritising and balancing a range of responsibilities across the whole team, build relationships with key stakeholders and commissioners. As a clinician you will hold a case load and using your expertise to support the service and team. This role will work closely with the Clinical Lead for Neurodevelopmental services.
Our patients and your colleagues will expect you to live the St Andrew’s CARE values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence every single day
