We’re looking for a caring, skilled, and motivated Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our friendly, supportive team in St Albans, Hertfordshire. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with flexible shifts (AM/PM) and opportunities for overtime.

Your nursing responsibilities

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring high-quality, holistic healthcare, including:

  • Conducting health assessmentsand ongoing monitoring
  • Developing and reviewing Health Action Planswithin person-centred care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments safely, including vaccinations and diabetes-related injections
  • Responding to health concerns and medical emergencies
  • Supporting with mobility needs, includinghoisting and pushing wheelchairs
  • Managing medication systems, including ordering, auditing, and safe storage

You’ll combine clinical expertise with compassion, ensuring care is always tailored to each individual.

About you

You’re a qualified Registered Nurse (RGN) with solid clinical experience and a genuine passion for supporting people with learning disabilities.

You bring both professionalism and warmth to your practice, combining strong clinical skills with a truly people-centred approach. You’re confident working with a range of health needs and are committed to delivering safe, high-quality care that respects each person’s individuality.

You will have experience supporting people with a variety of conditions, including:

  • PEG feeding
  • Catheter, and suctions of secretions, alongside stoma care
  • Epilepsy and Diabetic care
  • Skin integrity

You’ll also be confident in:

  • Administering medications and treatments safely, includingvaccinations and diabetes-related injections
  • Carrying out health assessments and baseline records, monitoring changing needs
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
