Sense Hub Belfast opened in 2025 and has quickly become one of the most impactful services for people with complex needs in Northern Ireland. We built more than a facility; we built a community. Now we're looking for the right person to lead it.
As our Registered Care Manager, you'll be at the heart of a flagship service that supports people with sensory loss and learning disabilities to live full, connected lives through sport, the arts, and the development of real, lasting skills. This is a leadership role with genuine purpose.
Location: Sense Hub, BelfastContract: Permanent | 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday, including evenings)Salary: ££34,671 per annumInterview date: 17th April 2026
Your required skills and experiences:
- A full UK Driving License and use of your own vehicle.
- A minimum of five years practice experience in any health and social care setting,working with one or more of the groups we support
- Experience of supervising and line managing team members in accordance with policy and legislation in the care sector.
- Effective communication with stakeholders, commissioners, and users alike.
- Working towards or completed a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Adult Management)
- Some knowledge of BSL and Makaton is desirable.
Your duties can include:
- Leading and line managing a team of support staff
- Managing rotas and annual leave
- Delivering a high-quality, person-centred service to people with learning disabilities
- Identifying individual needs and outcomes, and building plans around them
- Supporting individuals in their homes and communities to reach their potential
