About Waythrough

Make a real difference in your community

About the Role

As a Regional Recruitment Partner, you'll play a key role in attracting exceptional talent to help deliver life-changing services across your region. You'll own the full recruitment journey, partnering with hiring managers to provide expert advice, deliver an outstanding candidate experience, and ensure every appointment reflects our values and commitment to safer recruitment.

Working closely with operational leaders, you'll develop recruitment strategies that meet both immediate and future workforce needs, using data and market insight to continuously improve attraction and hiring outcomes. This is a varied role that combines hands-on recruitment delivery with strategic partnership, giving you the opportunity to influence recruitment across the organisation while supporting our mission to change lives.

Key Duties

  • Lead all recruitment activity across your designated region, taking responsibility for strategic planning, workforce forecasting and the delivery of recruitment objectives.
  • Manage the full end-to-end recruitment process, from vacancy briefing through to offer and onboarding.
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers, providing expert recruitment advice and guidance.
  • Deliver proactive recruitment campaigns for hard-to-fill and high-volume vacancies.
  • Create engaging job adverts and identify effective attraction strategies to reach diverse talent.
  • Champion an inclusive and values-led candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Ensure all recruitment activity complies with employment legislation, safeguarding requirements, and organisational policies.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Analyse recruitment data and provide insights to support workforce planning and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Regional Recruitment Partners and the wider People team to share best practice and improve recruitment processes.
  • Keep up to date with recruitment trends, labour market developments, and innovative sourcing approaches.

About You

We're looking for an experienced recruiter who enjoys building strong relationships and delivering an exceptional recruitment experience. You'll be confident managing multiple vacancies across a diverse region, advising managers at all levels, and balancing operational delivery with strategic thinking.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment, ideally within a multi-site or regional environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and coach hiring managers.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A good understanding of employment legislation, safer recruitment, equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and interpreting recruitment data to drive improvements.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for delivering high-quality recruitment.
  • A commitment to delivering an excellent candidate experience and living our values of Kindness, Courage and Respect.
  • A CIPD or recruitment qualification (or equivalent) is desirable, alongside experience within the charity, health and social care, education or public sectors.
