The Vacancy

Are you an experienced operational leader with a passion for delivering exceptional estate services, driving commercial performance, and creating thriving communities?

We're looking for a Regional Delivery Manager (Estates) whose primary focus will be delivering outstanding estate services and customer satisfaction across a large and diverse social housing portfolio. You'll be accountable for ensuring customers consistently receive safe, high-quality, value-for-money services while leading teams and contractor partnerships to deliver operational excellence, strong commercial performance and continuous improvement.

You'll combine strategic thinking with operational excellence, leading high-performing teams and contractor partnerships while driving value for money, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

As Regional Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for creating and delivering the regional strategy for estate services, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and customer expectations.

Day to day you will find that you:

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality estate services across your region, ensuring compliance, safety and performance excellence.
  • Develop a best-in-class service offering that is responsive, efficient and effortless for customers and colleagues.
  • Drive service performance through the achievement of key KPIs, SLAs and financial targets.
  • Design and implement effective service charge delivery and management processes.
  • Capture and analyse financial metrics that support robust service charge management and accounting.
  • Manage regional budgets, ensuring strong cost control and demonstrable value for money.
  • Build, lead and develop a highly engaged workforce, whether through directly employed teams or external contractor partnerships.
  • Develop real-time performance dashboards and reporting to support data-driven decision making.
  • Lead complaint resolution and service recovery activities with professionalism and customer focus.

About you

You'll be an accomplished leader with significant experience managing complex estate services within social housing or a related sector.

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • A professional qualification in housing, property management, estates management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience managing large social housing portfolios.
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing service charge delivery models.
  • A proven commercial and financial track record.
  • Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams and contractor partnerships.
  • Strong budget management and financial planning expertise.
  • An excellent understanding of housing and property management operations.
  • The ability to assess risk, make sound decisions and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.

This is a hybrid role enabling you to work from home if you wish. Travel throughout your region will be required so you will have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes. You will be suitably located either within or close to the region to enable travel, with the expectation that you will need to be in London on average once per month.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact on the lives of customers and communities while shaping the future of estate services across a significant regional portfolio.

You'll have the autonomy to drive change, the support to innovate, and the opportunity to lead a talented team focused on delivering services that customers value and trust.

If you're ready to combine operational excellence, commercial acumen and inspirational leadership in a role that truly makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
