National Talking Therapies Team Part-time (22.5 hours per week) | Permanent | Remote
At Everyturn Mental Health, we’re expanding our National Talking Therapies Team and are looking for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to help increase Step 2 capacity and improve access to care across the UK.
This role will support national waiting list management, deliver low-intensity CBT interventions, and play a key part in expanding our national Step 2 webinar programme.
About the role
You’ll deliver evidence-based, low-intensity CBT interventions to support people experiencing anxiety and depression, helping reduce waiting times and improve early access to care.
You’ll also contribute to innovative, scalable approaches including webinars and group-based interventions, supporting a proactive and preventative model of care.
What you'll do
- Assess and deliver low-intensity CBT interventions in line with NICE guidelines
- Manage a clinical caseload and maintain accurate records
- Undertake risk assessments and ensure appropriate actions are taken
- Deliver interventions via telephone, online, webinars, and groups
- Support step-up/step-down within the stepped care model
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners
- Participate in supervision and continuous professional development
About you
We'd love to hear from you if you possess the following:
- Recognised PWP qualification (PG/UG certificate, MSci, or apprenticeship route)
- BABCP or BPS registration (or working towards)
- Experience delivering low-intensity CBT in a Talking Therapies service
- Experience managing caseloads and meeting performance targets
- Strong understanding of anxiety, depression, and the stepped care model
- Knowledge of NICE guidelines and risk management processes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
