Although based in central Gloucester, this is a county-wide outreach role requiring regular travel. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred however, if not, you must be confident in planning your travel and managing your schedule to meet the demands of working across Gloucestershire, including attending appointments in community settings, partner organisations, and family homes where appropriate.
We are looking for someone who:
- Communicates effectively and can build trusting relationships with children and young people
- Is passionate about delivering trauma-informed support to children, young people, and their families
- Is motivated to amplify the voices of service users and create opportunities for them to reach their full potential
- Can work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive team
- Is committed to safeguarding, able to take appropriate action when required, while maintaining empathy, compassion, and respect
- Is confident in outreach working, building relationships with professionals, and supporting others to work safely with children and young people
